Q：Can I have Breakfast?
Breakfast is available at JPY1,000/person.
The restaurant, Anteroom Meals serves breakfast to hotel guests and its companions every morning from 7:00am to 11:00am. It is semi-buffet style serving the daily menu with Sandwiches and Pastry, Green smoothie and salad/yogurt/soup/drink bar.
You don’t need to reserve breakfast in advance.
Just buy the ticket at the reception when you check-in or that morning.
Q：Can you accommodate people with food allergies?
1) The information regarding our menu items and/or the ingredients that we use at Hotel Anteroom Kyoto are provided by our producers and vendors.
2) Along with the customer’s request, we strive as much as possible to remove allergens. However, we may not be able to guarantee all of your requests in the case that you have many allergic foods or if you request this on the day.
3) Your order will be prepared in the same kitchen as the other menu items. For this reason, it is possible that some traces of allergens may mix into the meal during preparation.
The kitchen, washing facilities, crockery and cutlery are used for both the regular menu dishes and the special dietary dishes.
4) We cannot guarantee that the special dietary meals will not cause any allergic reaction. Therefore, it is up to you to make the final judgment when ordering this type of meal. We appreciate your understanding.
Reservation must be canceled 72hrs prior to arrival
in order to avoid a cancellation charge as below
-72hrs prior to arrival: 20% charge of one night room and tax
-48hrs prior to arrival: 50% charge of one night room and tax
-24hrs prior to arrival: 80% charge of one night room and tax
-No show: 100% charge of one night room and tax
Q: Can I send a luggage to the hotel?
We can keep your parcels before you come, if those are already paid.
Please be aware that we can’t accept the parcels if we couldn’t recognize those was yours. Please make sure to include your reservation name and check-in date on the parcel.
Q: Can I keep my luggage at the hotel?
We can keep your luggage at the hotel before check in and after check out. Please ask the reception.
Q: Are there any parking lot?
The hotel does not have an private parking lot. During the Golden Week, the “Bon” Buddhist Festival,the New Year’s Holiday as well as the public holidays, it is expected the parking lot in the surroundings tend to become occupied. It might need to take a time or not able to stop the car. We would recommend the guest to use public transportation during crowded period instead.
Q: Can I smoke in the hotel?
Regarding your inquiry, we are afraid but there is no smoking room.
However, there is a smoking public space on the grand floor.
It is not allow to smoke in the room but you can smoke at the smoking space.
Q: How do get to the hotel from Kyoto station?
After arriving Kyoto station, the best way to get here is taking taxi from Kyoto station.
It will take about 5 min. from Kyoto station and cost the base fare of taxi(around 600-650JPY)
There are north side and south side in Kyoto station and the south side is nearer than north side to our hotel.
The south side is named the Hachijo-guchi entrance(八条口) and the north side is the Central entrance(中央口).
It is better to take taxi from the Hachijo-guchi side than to take from the Central entrance.
Q: Can I rent a bicycle?
You can rent bicycles from us.
We have 2 rental bicycles and it costs 1300JPY for 1 day (from 9:00AM to 6:00PM).
It is better to reserve in advance because we have only 2.
And we also have free rental bicycles for short-distance rides for a few hours.
But you can’t reserve those free rental bicycles.
